Raheem Sterling’s House Broken Into By Thugs

Jamaican-born England football star Raheem Sterling has had his house broken into for a SECOND time. The winger who plays for Chelsea in the English premiership was at home with his children when his house was targeted by masked thugs.

The incident happened at 7pm on Saturday – just an hour before Chelsea were set to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge. All those inside the house escaped unharmed, while those responsible failed to get away with any valuables after being left surprised that Sterling was home. A police report has since been filed.

A spokesperson said: “We can confirm that Raheem Sterling was the victim of a home break-in this weekend. We can also confirm that he and his children were present at home at the time.

“Whilst the ultimate violation of privacy and safety, we are thankful to be able to confirm that he and his loved ones are all safe. We ask that the privacy of Raheem and his loved ones be respected at this challenging time.”

Sterling has had a challenging time with Chelsea, having found himself out of the club’s Premier League squad under Enzo Maresca. He spent last season on loan with London rivals Arsenal.

Sterling’s previous Surrey home had already been targeted during the 2022 World Cup while he was on international duty. A man was subsequently charged with 33 offences of conspiracy to commit burglary. It has recently been suggested that top-flight stars are now employing former MMA fighters as added security.

A security consultant  said: “I can tell you that one massive club with several players in the Cheshire area has boosted security. They have now drafted in a couple of former MMA fighters to bodyguard the players and their families.

“One of the lads does the close protection work while the other is a house sitter. That means he stay in the house when the player is away with the club.

“The gangs tend to pull the big jobs when the players are away in Europe. Both the former MMA fighters are very confident when it comes to physical confrontations and would not back off if something happened.

“They look after the players and their families when they are out on the street when things can happen. If a young players wants to go to nightclub they will take them and make sure nothing happens. These lads have fought at the highest levels and are highly capable.”

  1. He probably knew that they were coming and so he stay in. Who are they trying to kid? Certainly not me. This was probably set up. This is the second time that his house was burgle. Why is that? They must have set up the whole thing for promotion and publicity. They World cup is next year and they want to feature him in the England squad and so what better way to do than by doing a publicity stunt which was afford him empathy and public sympathy. It does not wash with me. This is a set up. I smell a rat a mile away. Something ain’t adding up here….
