Ms Jamaica universe beauty pageant Dr. Gabrielle Henry, is recovering after a dramatic fall during the preliminary round of the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand. The incident took place on Tuesday night, when Dr. Henry slipped from the main stage while competing in the evening gown segment, just days ahead of the Miss Universe Finals.
Dr.Henry was rushed to the Paolo Rangsit Hospital in Bangkok, where doctors have been monitoring her closely. According to officials, she is not suffering from any life threatening injuries, but medical staff are still running tests to make sure she makes a full recovery.
The organisation is asking Jamaicans to keep Henry in their prayers as she receives treatment far from home. They have also thanked supporters for the outpouring of love since news of the accident broke earlier today.
