US President Donald Trump is considering commuting P.Diddy’s sentence later on this week, according to a source close to the commander-in chief
The source who spoke to AfroSaxonVoice anonymously said that Diddy’s loved ones are already in motion. His mother, Janice Combs, who’s been living in Miami with two of Diddy’s sons, has reportedly flown into New York, where insiders say she’s waiting for her son’s possible release.
Our source states that “Trump will do what he wants,” and we’re told Trump could set Diddy free as early as this weekend.
And that’s not all — Diddy’s twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila, are expected to arrive in NYC today, along with other close family members. “Everyone’s flying in,” one insider said. “They were told to be ready. Something big is happening — and soon.”
Diddy who is formerly known as Puff daddy is serving a 50-month prison sentence for violating the Mann Act. He’s served 13 months, and with credit, he could get out in around 2 years — but none of that matters when Trump commutes his sentence.
Trump recently commuted the sentence of former Congressman George Santos last Friday.
A legal expert stateside said that almost immediately after Diddy was sentenced earlier this month, his legal team was in touch with a high-ranking official from the White House who has the ear of the President regarding commutation and pardon. Just days later, Trump told the media he was aware of the ask.
While nothing has been officially confirmed by the White House or the Bureau of Prisons, people in Diddy’s camp are “extremely optimistic” that something will break this week.
Diddy fell out of Trump’s graces when he supported Biden in 2020, but Trump did not slam the door shut on showing Diddy mercy. We’re told it’s now squarely on the table and is going to happen.
