American music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was reportedly rushed to hospital on Wednesday after allegedly getting into a physical altercation with convicted Jamaican drug lord Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke.
According to a published report, the confrontation reportedly erupted after Combs allegedly caused trouble that resulted in disciplinary action against fellow inmates.
During the alleged scuffle, Combs reportedly sustained a head injury and was subsequently transported to an outside medical facility for treatment.
A prison source further revealed that Combs’ injury was not life-threatening. The Bad Boy Records founder was returned to the prison Saturday and placed back in solitary confinement.
“Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out,” Combs’ spokesperson Juda Engelmayer told PEOPLE after the hospitalization.
PEOPLE previously confirmed that Combs was being held in solitary confinement following an NBC News report, which alleged the music mogul had been seen with contraband items.
